Deviled Eggs that are Devilishly Good
Ingredients:
5 Hard boiled eggs
1 tablespoon of fancy mustard (not yellow but something else)
2 tablespoons Mayo or Miracle Whip
salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
a sprinkling of paprika
Instructions:
Boil your eggs, again, a really good method that I always use is here. Be careful when you peel them, you want them intact!
Slice them length wise (ie the long side of the egg) from the center, make it a clean cut so you have two egg slices that can lay on a plate.
Carefully scoop out the yolk with a spoon and put it into a small bowl.
Mix in mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, and garlic powder with the yolk until it is mixed well but should still have some lumps.
Place filling into egg yolk spot, filling up the egg white cup a little over the top.
Sprinkle Paprika on top and serve immediately.
This is easily one of the easiest recipes I will ever put on here. My boyfriend’s mother made these for his Defense and he was impressed by it until I showed him how easy it is to make. Still have the tray that we bring out for when we want to have a ton of deviled eggs. You can adjust this, like all my recipes, to taste if you desire but the base recipe should make 10 deviled eggs. That seems like a lot until you have only one remaining. These go fast, especially at parties and potlucks. Everyone loves them!
