Stir fry (Also known as "I dunno, Whatever")
This is going to be a bit unorthodox as a recipe as all ingredients I list are suggestions but the steps are the same for most. Hope you enjoy!
Ingredient suggestions:
Meats:
chicken
pork
beef
fish (light flavored like say tilapia)
shrimp
First round veggies:
Carrots
Broccoli
Onion (varying types)
Peppers
Bamboo shoots
Water Chesnuts
Garlic cloves
Ginger roots
Mushrooms
second round veggies:
Bok Choy
Nappa Cabbage
Powdered spices:
Ginger
Garlic Powder
Garlic Salt
Salt
Pepper (white or black)
Mustard
Liquids:
Soy Sauce
Teriyaki Sauce
Hoisen Sauce
Peanut oil
Sesame Oil
Rice Wine Vinegar
Steps:
Wash and chop first round veggies. Put them onto frying pan coated with either Peanut or Sesame Oil (unless you have beef or pork, they produce enough grease on their own) along with the meat on medium-high heat until pan sizzles then bring it down to low.
Chop up second round veggies. Add powdered spices and liquids, mixing them into the stir fry as you add each one.
Add second round veggies. Smell to see if you like the current spice and sauce combo.
Fry it until everything looks as cooked as you want it. Serve with rice or Asian noodles.
As mentioned in my post last year on going off recipe, this is how I make my stir fry and about the closest thing to a recipe I can get for it. Everything is haphazard, I put no thought to measurement but just what I have and what looks like a good amount. This was tonight’s dinner and I hope you all enjoy it. Also, thank you for sticking with me, it’s been an interesting year running this blog and I hope you all (how many of you that exist) are enjoying it. Tell me your favorite ideas for stir fry in the comments and I will see you next Horror Tuesday.
