Any Chip Cookies
(Based on the toll house butterscotch chip cookies recipe from Genius Kitchen.)
What you need:
2 1/4 cups of flour
3/4 cup of granulated sugar
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup (two sticks) of butter (softened is easier)
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
2 large eggs
2 cups (one 12oz package) of chips (chocolate/butterscotch/milk chocolate/whatever baking chips you got!)
Instructions:
Mix together flour, salt, and baking soda in a small bowl and set aside.
Cream together butter and sugars and add vanilla.
Add eggs one at a time
Slowly add in the flour mixture
When completely mixed together, add the chips
Drop by the spoonful onto an ungreased sheet pan.
Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes in five batches of twelve.
A recipe that works for any chocolate, butterscotch, or other sweet baking chip you could think of! You could even mix and match chips as long as they amount to roughly 2 cups total. Let me know your favorite version, I love dark chocolate chips myself.
